    Temecula Creek Inn

    By DesertMama | January 15, 2008

Temecula Creek Inn Guest RoomWhen I visited Temecula, California I was fortunate enough to stay at the charming Temecula Creek Inn and I was not disappointed. The hotel sits on 300 gorgeous green acres including a 27-hole championship golf course. The Temet Grill and Lounge overlook the golf course and a pretty waterfall. It was in the rustic-style lounge I fell in love with a local Leonesse Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. If you are at the Inn on a Sunday be sure to stop in the Temet Grill for the Champagne Brunch, complete with a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. The guest rooms at the Temecula Creek Inn are newly renovated and decorated with a hint of Native American influence. Let me tell you, the beds are luscious (the type that make you feel all cozy and want to stay in bed all day). Had it not been raining (yes, my visit was during one of the rare rainy days in Southern California) I would have sat on my room’s balcony overlooking the golf course sipping a hot cup of coffee while watching the early-risers tee-off. Instead, I kicked back on the leather lounge chair opened the sliding door and enjoyed the smell of the rain (something rare to me, being from the desert).
