i feel the same as you. i always bring airborne with me when i travel, and actually still have some around my house. it seemed to work. oh well, maybe it was just the power of the mind..

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the best defense against germs was washing one’s hands frequently.

I still have some Airborne and I’ll use what I have left, but I probably won’t buy any more.

Airborne Loses Class-Action Lawsuit

I’ve always seen Airborne and wondered if it really works. Turns out it doesn’t. If you bought it, you can get in line for some class action cash.

I’m flying today! No Airborne for me (I’d run out; and frankly, I’m glad I didn’t buy any more). But I did drink 700 ml of water before getting on the plane, and I’ve washed my hands lots and have my hand sanitizer. No multi-vitamin (I’ve got a huge bottle, but always forget to take them!) and I only got about 4.5 hours of sleep last night. Bah! Maybe all the Vitamin C I’ll be drinking in the form of strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas will help fight off sickness…:-)

I’m a big fan of Ayr, a saline nasal spray. I use this before and after flights, to clean the germs out.

Airborne had such a great concept and many supporters. This is sad to see this happen to the inventor. She probably thought she was offering something good to the world and ended up making a buttload of money off of it.

You just never know.
