I think you're definitely right about "you get what you pay for" but hey at least you came home with an interesting story! and you helped other travelers out to boot :). If you ever return to PV, I suggest staying at Samba Vallarta - it's an all inclusive so it's good for family vacays! Love your blog, by the way, you have some great posts! Nothing mentioned this was for the noisy street rooms only. Even so there was no info what they charge for the other rooms.They offered us after claiming another room to the side, which was a little bit better,we had no other choice in the night as to accept. Next day the asked for the oceanview addionally 30 bucks. We accepted, but dont think we will make this expreince again.
