I love the temporary tattoo option. What little kid doesn't love temporary tattoos? This is a great On the Move Approved item.

Two of my four boys were "bolters." Like Cajun Mama's kids, they'd dart into clothing racks and race down supermarket aisles. As they got older, they learned to channel their energy. One of them ended up as a sprinter, becoming a state track champion in high school. All four are grown now (the oldest is 33); but when they were little, I used to secretly wish that I could put them in harnesses, the way my parents' generation did. I have to say, though, that your idea is much better.

I needed this when my kids were younger. They thought the clothing racks at the mall were the perfect place for hide and seek.

This would also be a good idea for kids in shelters during natural disasters. I know a good number of children were temporarily lost during Katrina.

Oh no, I've never lost a child. Unless you count that time at Disneyland. And that time at the beach. And that time on the slopes...
