This past week’s Traveling Mamas contest giveaway included an On the Move Approved Secure2Me blanket, along with a BedBugz inflatable bedrail. Both are intended to make family vacations with toddlers (or babies) a little easier. Family travel involves keeping our kids happy (plenty of car toys) and safe, after all. The fun adventure of trips really falls by the wayside if Junior lost his special favorite blanket.

The contest asked readers to leave a comment describing a vacation they took either as a young child or with their own toddler in tow – or even a dream vacation they’d like to take with their family. And our randomly selected giveaway winner is…Michele P. She wrote, “I took a trip with my older child to San Antonio, and she went with daddy to Sea World while I was busy at a convention last month. When she was a toddler, we took her to Canada-only thing is we forgot her birth certificate. They let her into the country, but getting her back home into the US was not as easy! (we got some very stern words from US Immigration, thank you.) We have yet to visit Florida, and do the Disney/Universal Theme park thing, hopefully in the next couple of years. These would make great gifts for hubby’s daughter, who just had a baby last month.”
