The Traveling Mamas are very excited to present our latest contest giveaway, the prize being a children’s camera cell phone!

These camera phones and the Kajeet cell phone service (Traveling Mamas On the Move Approved) are great first cell phones for children because there are very simple to use parental controls for peace of mind, plus the talk, text, pictures, games, and more that kids want. The camera phone in this contest giveaway is a black and deep red Samsung m300 flip phone. It’s very good-looking. It comes with $5 airtime, 4x digital zoom camera, a charger, battery, earbud, and manufacturer’s warranty. Since this is a kid’s camera phone we’re talking about, it also comes with some funky little stickers, picture messaging, and mobile AIM. I opened the box to get a good look and read the information, but needless to say, this is a brand-new cell phone.

I know from experience that a lot of children and young teens are begging their parents for their own cell phones. In their minds, “everybody” except them already has camera phones like this Samsung. If you think your kid is old enough, and responsible enough, to own a cell phone, then have fun trying to win this free phone contest. By the way, there are no activation or early termination fees.

My own children are pretty annoyed that this cell phone giveaway is not for them, but they’ll get over it, someday…When I finally cave, and get them Kajeet cell phone plans of their own!     I have one that is just going out on her own in the car- this could be for emergencies and the camera would be if there is an emergency and she has to take pictures…also she could use it on dates in case- group dates or out with friends would be nice to be assured she could call me in the bathroom and I could help in an emergency..yep my kids can say anything to use me for an excuse if they feel uncomfortable…I love them- even if they say mom is such a beotch she will ground me for life if I went here…etc

    My son has been driving us crazy to get him a cell phone. We do see that he does have a need at times for it, but we’ve been concerned about the cost. Someone recently told me about Kajeet and raved about how you can control how many minutes you purchase for your child, thereby keeping the costs down. I’d really love to win this for my son. This phone really sounds great and I know that he would love the camera feature. I’ve heard really great things about Kajeet. Thanks so much for this giveaway!

    Well to be honest….I have one cell phone for the entire family. And no landline for the house either.
    So, its pretty hard to reach my husband at work when there is no phone with him….we would love this phone. :)

    My brother just got his drivers license (it made me feel really old!). I know my mom is worrying about him being out driving without a cell phone, but she doesn’t even have one herself to give for him to use (she is not exactly the technology queen).     The school wanted to move my 8 year old to fourth grade. I had to bribe him with getting his own cell phone if he did go and still got A’s. He didn’t, so I have to come up with a phone and times are a little tough right now. I am very proud of him though.

    My oldest son is 10 years old and he has been bugging my husband and I (to death practically) to get him a cell phone. My husband and I have been back and forth on this subject weighing the pros and cons. I think we have come to the decision that we will get him a cell phone, but it will be only used when he is not home and for purposes of my husband and I reaching him or if he encounters some type of emergency. This Black and red Samsung m300 flip phone would truly be perfect for him, and I just love all the features of it, especially the parental controls and the ease of use that it offers.     My daughter has started to have more Independence, going to her friends house etc.. and I would just feel so much safer if she has this phone with her. She loves to take pictures everywhere she goes so that she can show me what I am missing! I would love this prize.

    It is a perfect time for a camera phone for me because we are a military family and only see family once a year or so. Being able to send quick photos while traveling would be great plus I’ve been deprived as I’ve never had a camera phone.

    My daughter is truly an odd child. Between the ages of 8 and 14 she has never asked for a Christmas present. But this year now that she is 15 years old she has her heart set on a cell phone. Almost every child expects to see there wishes come true under the tree on Christmas Day, but I feel that it would light up her world if she was to get on the internet,read her email, and discover that she has won a brand new cell phone.I hope that someone will allow this wish of mine to come true for her.

    my daughter has been bugging for a phone since she was in year 7 but i didnt give her but now she is in year 9 i though maybe it was nice to give her a phone. she had wanted a phone for her birthday but i did not give everytime she madea wishshe always wished for a phone but it never came true for her,she wanted a phone for hr 13th birday because that day was special for her becasue she was 13th on the 13th. i just wish that one her wish will comtrue and she will be happy.i want herto haveaphone because all of her friends have a phone ad i just wat to fit in wit her friends. hopefully, soon enough someone will make her wish come true.

    I need a new phone because mine is awful. I’ve had to have it replaced or repaired 3 times in less than a year. but we can’t afford to get a new phone right now, so I just deal with it. but with a 13 month old daughter I need to have a reliable phone in case I need to reach someone or be reached myself.

    well you would think that by age 14 your children would need a phone and i didnt think they needed one at all at first but then later i wasnt able to get in touch with my daughter lauren wich scared me to death because that had never happend to me befor and i was worried sick that something had happend to her…..but anyways when i was starting to think anout it the economy got horrible and that scared me to because i never wanted to feel like that again and now i just feel hopeless about what im going to do so i really do think i need this phone alot and not just so my kids can talk all day long but so i will never have to feel like that again
