Love vacations in Vail. The Vail nature center also offers great affordable hikes which is nice as they are usually in groups- saw the alpine meadows in full bloom; and then had a snowball fight – in July! Nick is an amazingly talented guide- i hiked with him and the Beaver Creek Hiking Center in Austria and Switzerland- Nick- not only can he run full speed down a trail with the legs of a gazelle- to check on the “faster” group- but he will run back UP the trail with the same speed and agility that it took him to run down- I have never seen anything like it. I think he was a bit slower tho on the last day when he stayed out too late with um… a few of the “crazies” on the trip and we kept him on his toes a little too late. a great sport- and a talented guide.
