Harry’s Bar in Venice – Where the Bellini was invented

by CajunMama

After an expensive, yet fun and touristy Venetian activity of a gondola ride, my parents and I ended our day at Harry’s Bar. Harry’s is located near Saint Marc’s Square at the water bus station and is the place where the Bellini cocktail was invented.

We stepped through the narrow doors of this famous cocktail stop and enjoyed this peachy, sparkling libation. At €15 we were definitely paying for the experience of saying we had a Bellini at Harry’s Bar. But, after spending €180 on a gondola, it was only fitting to continue to live in the moment.

You don’t get chances like this every day and Harry’s Bar is extremely well known. Sounds a good experience.
