Walt Disney World and Rayovac Batteries

Family travel can be very convenient with the proper planning, including a visit to the most popular family destination in the world – Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts. We’ve been doing lots of research to help those of you planning WDW visits so that you can get the most out of your experience. And Walt Disney World is constantly changing with new attraction openings and even a major addition to the Magic Kingdom.

Here are some tips to help make things easy when planning your Walt Disney World family vacation:

Where to Stay – Once you make the decision to visit Walt Disney World for your vacation or holiday, you’ll want to think about which resort or hotel to stay during your visit. There are many options outside of the official Disney resorts, but the whole point of the Disney experience is, well, the FULL Disney Experience. There’s a wide arrange of resorts for every budget, from value resorts to deluxe resorts. Plus, when you stay onsite, there is FREE Disney transportation all around the resorts and theme parks.

If budget isn’t an issue, then you’ll want to stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, which is located in the Magic Kingdom area and has an onsite monorail station. It’s the most expensive resort, but you get what you pay for. A moderate resort that is tons of fun is Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, which even has pirate themed rooms. No matter which type of lodging you choose at Disney, you can’t really go wrong for the Disney feel.

DisneySMMomsWhere to Eat – Once the lodging choice is out the way, Disney provides different dining plans to continue with overall convenience while you’re at Walt Disney World. This is a great way to plan your meals and expenses before even leaving home. Be sure to check out some of the best quick service dining at Disney so you can plan your park visits with meal times included.

How to Play – Tickets are something that can be costly, but again, Disney offers a wide array of ticket options for almost every budget. My family personally likes the Park Hopper Passes, which allow park guests to visit multiple parks in a day. If you’re looking to save a few dollars, you can purchase a base ticket which allows entry into one park per day. The best value for this type of ticket is a seven day pass. Of course, you can’t forget about all the extras like the water parks, Disney Quest, Downtown Disney, or the many golf courses.

Bring Home the Magic – You can’t visit Disney without bringing home some of the magic. I’m a big fan of ears, and Disney has ears to suit every age and personality. Also, you’ll want to take tons of photographs to capture your visit. Disney’s PhotoPass allows you to stop anywhere at a photo stop, have your card scanned, and then have your photo taken by a professional. The photographers will even take a picture of you with your own camera as well. Batteries run down? No worries! Rayovac is the official battery of Disney Park and Resorts and can be found at every gift shop to keep your cameras ready to capture the action.

How to Get There – Many families opt to drive to Walt Disney World, and we have some great tips for planning a Disney road trip, but some families prefer the excitement of air travel. What’s great about staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort is that you can take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express, which is by far the most convenient way I’ve ever traveled to Disney. When you check your luggage at your home airport, just add a Disney bag tag and relax for your trip. You don’t even have to claim your luggage at the baggage carousel, because Disney will do that for you too! Later when you check into your room, a few hours later your bags magically appear! Plus, on the return trip, you can check your bags at your resort and they deliver them to the airline for you. Now THAT’S a relaxing family vacation!

We love Disney, and while not everyone is a fan of theme parks, you can’t argue that there’s something magical in the way the little kids’ eyes light up during their Disney experience. Walt Disney World Resorts and Parks isn’t just for little kids, it’s for big kids like moms and dads too!
